Financial Analytics

When you want to get insights about your site performance, Jackrabbit Care Analytics provides Owners and Administrators with easy financial visuals and graphs. Go to Reports (left menu) > Analytics card, and click the Finances link to do the following:

  •  Visualize revenue changes over time.
  •  Compare billed fee totals such as tuition to one-time or recurring.
  •  See what payment methods and discount types are most popular.
  •  Total the overall balance due across your sites and see breakdowns per family.
  •  List all transactions and compare charges versus payments.


Interactive Icons Legend

Functional icons appear when hovering over different sections of the analytics views. See how they work to use and better understand your data.

Icon Function

Offers a helpful explanation about the information displayed in the visual, such as how the data was gathered.

Reset any custom filters to the default view.

Focus Mode allows you to zoom in on a specific visual or data point within a report for a closer and more detailed view. When you activate Focus Mode, the selected visual or data point expands to fill the entire screen, temporarily removing other report elements.

When clicked, more options for a visual are offered such as Export Data.

Displays any filters that have been applied to the visual.

Analytics

Check out each analytics view to see various financial details about your business. Learn how to navigate and interpret each view to make the most of your financial data.

Revenue

Revenue analytics show accrued revenue and payments. It defaults to showing year-to-date information for all of your business's sites.

  • Use the Sites drop-down menu to choose specific sites for your business.
  • Use the Timeframe drop-down menu to change the view to month-to-date information.
  • Hover over any of the month points on the graph to see accrued revenue and payments for that month.
  • Click any Site ID - Name on the list to display only the data related to that specific site.

Billing

Billing analytics show tuition and other fees billed to families. It defaults to showing year-to-date information for all programs and classes across all of your business's sites.

  • Use the Sites drop-down menu to choose specific sites for your business.
  • Use the Timeframe drop-down menu to change the view to month-to-date information.
  • Use the Program drop-down menu to choose which programs to show in the data.
  • Use the Class drop-down menu to choose which classes to show in the data.
  • Hover over any of the bars on the bar graph to see more information about the data shown.
  • Click any of the Program, Class, or Fee Category names on the Billing/Tuition or Billing/Fees graphs to see its corresponding piece of the graph.

Payments

Payments analytics show the use of different payment methods. It defaults to showing year-to-date information for all of your business's sites.

  • Use the Sites drop-down menu to choose specific sites for your business.
  • Use the Timeframe drop-down menu to change the view to month-to-date information.
  • Hover over any of the month points on the graph to see payment method totals for that month.
  • Click any Payment Method on the list to display only the data related to that specific payment method.

Discounts

Discounts analytics show the totals for discounts applied to families. It defaults to showing year-to-date information for all of your business's sites.

  • Use the Sites drop-down menu to choose specific sites for your business.
  • Use the Timeframe drop-down menu to change the view to month-to-date information.
  • Hover over any of the month points on the graph to see discount totals by type for that month.
  • Click any Discount Category on the list to display only the data related to that discount type.

Balance Due

Balance Due analytics show balances and credits on each family account for all of your business's sites.

  • Use the Sites drop-down menu to choose specific sites for your business.
  • Hover over any part of the Families By Balance Status graph to see the number and percentage of accounts in each balance status.

Transactions

Transactions analytics show a ledger for all charges and payments made in your Jackrabbit Care system. By default, it shows data from the very first transaction in your system up to the current date for all of your business's sites.

  • Use the Sites drop-down menu to choose specific sites for your business.
  • Use the Date drop-down menus to select a different date range.
  • Use the Program drop-down menu to choose which programs to show in the data.
  • Use the Class drop-down menu to choose which classes to show in the data.
  • Use the Family drop-down menu to choose which families to show in the data.
  • Use the Transaction drop-down menu to filter showing charges or payments.
  • Click any of the column headers to sort that column in ascending or descending order.
